I'm starting this blog to document the next several months of vagrancy with my wife Suzanne as we ….here I go, acting like an AF Colonel.  I need to stop that.  So, I'm done with the AF after 23 years, Sue and I are empty nesters, and we're taking advantage of our disconnectedness to take several months off to travel the western US, camping, backpacking, adventuring and visiting.  My Bishop and friend, Bill Forsyth, suggested I do this blog, and I decided not to be a poop, so I'm doing it!  I officially leave the AF tomorrow, and about 9:30 am we'll point our cars WEST and hit the gas.  Home to the Mountains!
